Hi Brian,

When I was growing up around here in the 60s I thought this had it all! But I know what you mean. I loved the surf here - it was gentle for a young lad learning to handle the surf, a perfect beach and plenty of fish in the estuary.

And all that is still there.

Warm regards,

I appreciate your encouragement, Berend. It is a great beach.

Nice composition, like it. Best regards, Artem

The beach just after sunrise already has the flags (and lifeguards) on it, for there are many visitors and locals alike who love an early morning swim.

Thanks for the compliments, Artem.

It looks like one of our beaches... Perhaps is why so many uruguaians live there in Australia... Fortunely we have no sharks I understand are a problem there...

I´ve bee reading about climate in Brisbane and is alike ours in Salto, but with a warmer winter there.. We have many cold days this year... But from december to march is very similar, every day over 30°c reaching 40°c some days...
