Schiphol, Amsterdam airport, The Netherlands

Flying from Oslo Gardermoen, Norway, into the direction of Schiphol, Amsterdam, The Netherlands, so, southwardly, I noticed that the airplane flies over Schiphol, even more southward, to turn in a big circle back to the north, and creating a view on the North Sea on the left side of the airplane, flying over villages and landscapes all belonging to the south of Schiphol, Amsterdam. It took a while before I found on google maps where I was flying, how the airplane found its way to land.

Zwanenburgpolder is the name of the collective of waters and fields into the direction of Amsterdam/Schiphol. A wonderful experience, also the sea "my" North Sea, shining a blinding light of the evening sun, the wonderful sunset of that day...., May 29, 2012.

And finally landed, as usual it takes a long "taxi-drive" of the airplane to bring me to the gate where I can step into Netherlands. While taxiing I can take photos of Schiphol on places I would never be allowed to be if I would not be a passenger, and inside an airplane.....
