Woodbine Park, near the lake was the venue of the first Toronto summer music festival.
Grammy Award and Blues Music Award nominee John Primer (born 1945) is one of the last of the traditional Chicago Bluesmen. Originally from Camden, Mississippi. Primer took up residence on the windy city’s West Side, embarking on a career as a sideman for Willie Dixon, Muddy Waters, and Magic Slim.
Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate this year. Friday was completly rain out, but Sunday was almost perfect! The attendance was low, considering that this was a free event!
