Mostly, people are anonymous on their bikes but all my friends knew it was me passing them on this one! :)

Woah, very snazzy,Skida!

Skida, I hope I didn't sound grumpy on Marilyn's page, I just wouldn't go for a Harley, never been my cup of tea, and I sounded a bit too adamant, now I read it back. Cheers, Have a lovely day, Sue

This is quite simply the best bike I ever owned, unfortunately now gone to another home.

You didn't sound at all grumpy, even though I would have deserved it for being presumptious!

I currently have a Honda CBR600 (14y.o.) which does everything perfectly, but there is nothing to make me love it. I gues I am Triumph man at heart.

Skida, I think you had better tell your 'orrible 'onda that you love her or she will start breaking down on you! I never insulted my bikes, just in case they had ears! I know what you mean though as the first bike I ever had was one of those ring dingy dingy MZs!! -The newer slightly, ever so slightly more stylish one, not quite as bad as the original toaster design, but not that loveable, and with absolutely no pose appeal. It was a good little workhorse in the ice and snow though, as it was so light I didn't get squashed when I fell off in black ice.

Anyway, this is from me to your bike......"he loves you really, behave yourself!"

Cheers, Sue

There is a positive aspect of the CBR: I bought it cheap on ebay and last year at a bike rally it was hit by a trike while parked up. The insurance company wrote it off "beyond economic repair" and offered me a settlement and a buy back figure. The amount offered was £300 more than it originally cost and the buy back was £300! A new mirror cost £25 and it passed the MOT test no problem. So, in effect, I have a CBR600 which cost £25! There is that to love about it. :)

Here it is

Hi Ed. skida and Keith are one and the same person! skida is a biking nickname and I was Baptised Keith. The Speed Triple is the best bike I ever owned - not perfect, but imperfections lend character. I have ridden Harleys and Buells, and they also have character. Thanks for the comments.

Keith
