Skeletal Remains of The SS Dickey

Selected for Google Maps and Google Earth

In 1893, the steam powered SS Dickey was being pounded by 30 foot waves in a Force 11 gale as her master John Beattie battled to find refuge behind a headland. She was forced aground at what is now known as Dicky Beach (Note no "e") where her rusting skeleton remains as a beautiful reminder of her proud past.

Amazing Shot Jack F+L .I must say I am very surprise of the way England has "push over" Australiaso easily. Taking nothing away from England's performance, I believe something in wrong in the Aussies camp. And I don't think Clarke should have stepped down from the captaincy. Just a few matches ago the England captain Cook was being pushed to stepped down. And now he is the best thing since slice bread.
