The position is already blocked, but with the reservoir in the foreground I suspect this may have been taken from the north end of Bon Accord.

Hi Stan Howe, Thanks for the visit. This was taken from Tamarind Ave,I grew up there and went back for a visit, some of the house are in ruins, sad to see the company is not taking care off their houses

I too lived in Tamarind in the mid-1950s! One day a caiman came out of the reservoir, over my lawn and into the maidservant's shower! She WAS in there at the time, but quickly was not. Last seen fleeing up the road - in search of a towel? I last visited in the 1980's and my bungalow was empty and in a state of semi-ruin. Stan in Scotland

Hi Stan Howe, I enjoyed living in there, but I found some of the people was too stuck up and not to friendly.Right now I living in Toronto with the similar facilities as the refinery, and I enjoyed it very much.

Hello Bluenose11, I am flying to Trinidad on Saturday (5/07) fror a shutdown at a Refinery. As of right now, I do not have any address. But was wondering? is this the only refinery in Trinidad? I was looking around trying to get an understanding of the surroundings for when I arrive. Great Pictures by the way. Thanks, Gene
