Just saw this picture for the first time today. It's within sight of our house. What you think is an old barn is actually the first Trinity Lutheran Church in Sebastopol. If you ever pass by again in your travels look on the south side and you can see the outline of a church window. I believe this farm was my Great Great Grandparents and mom has all the history on it if anyone has any interest. Love your photos.
I'm delighted that you commented. Thank you so much for the information! I would love to get out that way again, and I do, I will certainly check for the outline of the window. As you see, I've corrected the title.
I was informed by mom that the church in your photo was actually the second Trinity Lutheran Church. It replaced the original log cabin church and was located where the current church is in Sebastopol. The church in your picture was moved to this location across the field sometime in the 1880s.

Sad to tell you all that this old church building is now gone, too. Hopefully the house can be saved, if at all possible :(
Belated thanks for the additional information, Sebastopol Mom.
I am sorry to learn this, vacquera, but I thank you for posting the information. I certainly wish that the house could be saved.
