Hi Kathy, The reflections in this are something that really attracts my eye. what a nice photo. Oh, I meant if you have set your date on your camera. Seems your exif data reads Last Modified Date/Time = 1980:01:01 00:00:48 So the images appear to be taken in 1980. Did they have digital then? LOL You can contact me through my website if you want further explanation. www.djb-photo.com

Thanks for sharing this. D

Thanks dj! I'm going to check my camera soon! Family needs have overshadowed my photography recently. Until you mentioned it, I had not even considered the reflections. I really appreciate you taking the time to look at my work and give helpful suggestions.

I like this picture. Why is the silo placed in the water? I imagine that this lake appeared after the silo was built... Best regards, Marek

Thank you Marekv. Yes, the Clinch River was flooded by Melton Hill Dam in 1963 creating Melton Hill Lake. My grandparent's farm was also flooded in 1936 by Norris Dam. I find these spots to be quite interesting. Thanks again.

How wonderful! This is a gorgeous shot, and a beautiful place! The history ( above) is so very interesting about the flood, and the silo being in the water and all. Fantastic capture!

Well done!

Sincerely,

Mary Alice

I like the way nature has conspired with you by placing that wisp of steam on the chimney top.

I wonder what other secrets are concealed beneath.

Nice job Kathy

Thanks Jim! Nature had a co-conspirator named TVA. In 1963 the Clinch River was flooded by the Melton Hill Dam to create Melton Hill Lake. There are many secrets under the man-made lakes of Tennessee. Entire towns were consumed and even part of my Grandparent's Farm by Norris Lake which is also on the Clinch River.

This goes to prove Kathy how much more there is to a photo. I am grateful for your interesting revelation.

Best Wishes.
