It seems so wrong. The heavy beams rise in the air. The thinner weaker struts seem to bear an inappropriately heavy load. It is upside down.

But it needs re-framing. As we zoom out the upper heavier beams bear the heavy load, and the lighted struts are bearing the suspended roadway.

"A bridge goes up like a mountain! How will I explain it to my people?" wondered a New Guinea Highlander on seeing the Harbour Bridge for the first time.
