Thanks Kamaly, as you can guess this is moonset early in the morning. Taken from Turkey near Dikili but the hills in the picture are from Greek Island Midilli. May be I should chance the location accordingly. I have more shots like this showing the moon all the way down. However seeing the moon is getting harder behind the clouds and near horizon ;)

To be able to penetrate through moisture in the sky and obtain high contrast image, yes I think I only used IR for this scene. It is interesting that even though some of the land based features are sharp and in focus, moon has nearly no details due to atmospheric distortions. Of course for the obvious reasons it would get worse when closer to horizon. Cheers, Volkan
