Surfin' Virginia Beach

Small waves do not discourage surfers on the Atlantic Coast of the USA, although it is prohibited in Virginia Beach on weekends during the summer months because of the crowds. The structure that looks like a pier in the background is actually the trestle for a one car railway which is used to dump debris from a municipal drainage project about one block inland into the ocean.
