Now a 'Petrotrin Learning Cente' I see; when built in 1952 it was a school for children of the staff of Trinidad Leaseholds Ltd.

Hi Stan Howe, Yes, most of my friends attended school here. I attended school in the United Stated, so I don't know any teachers. I do have friends who are still working with the company.

In the early 50's a Mr Pepys (Descended from Samuel Pepys) was the headmaster. As I was leaving in 1957 a Mr. ffrench came to teach there - he later authored a book on the Birds of Trinidad that remains the standard text for the country.
