Antibes-Archeological Museum roof-A child flying ( Bastion St André )

Not selected for Google Earth or Google Maps after a second review [?]

This child has Adam as first- name, he is running thinking he is flying and looking his shadow on the floor of the Bastion St André in the remparts of the Vieil Antibes. Time has stopped.

Le Bastion St André est l'un des principaux éléments du système de défense dont la ville est dotée à la fin du XVe siècle. Sous l'impulsion de Vauban et de l'ingénieur Antoine NIQUET, il comporte une importante citerne pour recueillr l'eau de pluie. Ses canons, en partie dirigés vers la Salis et le Cap permettaient de défendre l'accès maritime de la ville. Depuis 1963, il abrite les collection du Musée d'Archéologie. La grande terrasse sur laquelle court Adam a été entièrement restaurée
