The British ship Royal George sails past Fort Frederick in the re-enactment of the war of 1812 in Bath Ontario. The original Royal George was built in 1812 in Navy Bay, between Fort Henry and R.M.C.. Dock yards were established there in 1789 and a navy base in 1794. It was the largest war ship on the lake, the Americans had the most ships. Had they captured or destroyed it here, the whole war may have ended very differently.
