Folket i trakten kallade hällkistan då Sankt Görans grav.

A cist, a 4000 year old tomb from the Stone Age. It probably has more people buried. With them in the tomb may have been daggers and arrowheads of flint, pottery, slate pendants and amber beads. The grave is not dug. One end consists of a rock wall. Several side slabs standing on their seats, but many are gone. Some of the overlying rocks have probably been roof stones. The cist was damaged already in the 1840s when the priest Axel Emanuel Holmberg wrote about it in his book Bohuslän history and description. People in the area called the cist St Göran's grave.
