Viva España, the celebration continues two years later at the same spot. I was watching the game in section of Toronto, what used to be Little Italy. Most flags and jerseys were Azzuri as Toronto has about 320,000 people of Italian descent and only 22,000 of Spanish origin.
The celebration after the 4:0 win moved respectfully several block east, to this area, where there are several Hispanic Dance clubs. It was also the site of 2010 World Cup celebration. July 1, is a Canada Day, but this day there was a majority Italian, Spanish flag in this neighbourhood and only few Maple Leaf flags and hats! ;-)
