The Blue Coast Train and the Viaduct of Jonquier
The Blue Coast is located on west of Marseille. The name "Blue Coast" refers to the colour of blue algae which give a dark colour to the rocks at the water's edge. Only the train runs along the Blue Coast above the rocks by the sea and offers to passengers an exceptional view over the bay of Marseille.
La Côte Bleue est située à l’ouest de Marseille, jusqu'à Martigues. Le nom de "Côte Bleue" fait référence à la couleur des algues bleue qui donnent une coloration foncée aux rochers au bord de l’eau. Entre l’Estaque et Carry-le-Rouet, seul le train passe le long de la Côte Bleue au dessus des rochers en bord de mer. Il offre aux passagers une vue exceptionnelle sur la rade de Marseille.
