Roy Hargrove, (born 1969) offered Toronto a bit disappointing show; (he is usually reliable performer). For my ears, his RH Factor group was way too laud to produce anything listenable. Roy's mind was somewhere else. He would disappear in the back stage for periods of time. His solos were very good, effortless, but hiding behind the sunglasses was a bored musician.
