The remote 1800's gunpowder magazine for the defence fo Albany. Its about 5 metres square..
Great stuff! This is one part of Albany I've never visited.
Wonderful color and composition!

Thanks Jock, I cant believe I have lived here all my life and have never ventured out here before. * Mike, Bernardo* Ta for that, it is a bit smallish but then Albany was small back in 1830.. Its an interesting choice of location though... Instead of shielding Albany from any possible explosion by locating the magazine behind a rock wall it was proudly erected up on a knoll directly visable to the colony.. and any flying stone/rock should it explode..
Nice one mate... Is that out near the old quarantine station now being used as a B&B? I've been around there but not seen this. Excellent find.
It sure is Stuart, next to Camp Qaranup.. A very nice place to visit
What a great little stone building, and even better that it is still there for us to admire L :-)
Yep, ya cant help but admire it from town... it sticks out a bit.. :)
