Sunny Saltburn

As well as adding some sunshine to our recent wet days this upload brings sunshine into my life as I thought this and many other images had gone forever but a recent revamp of my broadband and subsequent network configuration revealed that some of my images had actually been in a folder on my partners laptop from an earlier back up procedure :o)

I didn't find all I'd lost Ian but yes if not for the laptop then the ones I have now found would have only been memories. I'm pleased you enjoyed your visual tour here.

Cheers !

Hi Sam,

lucky you with a partner with a laptop! The warm colours here are really amazing. I guess you camera time was wrong, this cannot have been taken 1 p.m.! Looks more like a lovely sunset.

Best wishes, Timo

Very very nice Sam!

Yorkshire Sam on July 7, 2012

Thank you Derek for your lovely comment.

Francois & Timo it was actually a 4a.m sunrise in August 2009 The time shown is yesterday when I was resizing and adding the drop shadow which appears to have lost the original exif. Cheers Neil

My thanks to you all for taking the time to comment etc.

regards, Sam :o)

A glorious sunrise shot. Knocks spots off most of the more garish sun set/rise pictures we see. Like, Best, Andy

Cheers Andy, I try to keep things real so your comment makes me think I might be doing just that,

Y*. Would have been a tragedy to lose this, like losing the score to Beethoven's sixth! (Sorry if I appear OTT but you know what I mean).

Best wishes, Brian.

Yorkshire Sam on July 11, 2012

I know what you're saying Brian and I appreciate you saying it. Cheers !

Great image Sam, with nice light/colour and atmosphere. Like.

Regards, Nick

This is a lucky one off for me Nick since usually when shooting towards the sun I end up with lens flares , even at narrow apertures with a prime lens and no filters to reduce the layers of glass and plastic.

I appreciate the visit and comments, Cheers ! :o)
