North Raleigh United Methodist Church - Sanctuary

Selected for Google Maps and Google Earth

21 bracketed shots of 3 yielded 7 HDR files via Photomatix free batch processor. Luminance's free batch processor then yielded 7 tone mapped JPGs which I stitched (with considerable manual intervention) in Hugin.

It was a very red place to start with, full of wood and light.

So colourful I blasphemed with my outburst! I have to go sit in a dark room now to get my retinas a rest.

That sounds like a heck of a lot to do but at least it keeps you out of mischief mate.

Good work !

Bloody hell Jethro whats with the avatar? Has NC been gettin as much rain as our NE?

This shot was well worth the work you had put into it.

Kenny

Thank you very much Jim - that's a great comment coming from a master like you.

I wanted an underwater one like you Kenny - actually we are being moved to spend our time in water here as its the only way to stay cool.

Cheers both - Jethro

oh, very cool! That stitch worked out very well.

Kenneth Kruse on July 8, 2012

Your considerable efforts have rewarded you handsomely my friend!

David Brown Photogra… on July 9, 2012

Well Kevin if you keep the bar high - I will try!

The stitch was a long story and only worked when I cropped off those pesky pews.

Phwew.

Thank you Ken I am glad you like this one. It was very exciting because you know you have A Shot in the camera and cannot wait to pull it out and cook it.

Cheers chaps - Jethro

Thank you indeed Tammo - you have such great old buildings. This was built in 2006!

Ian thank you very very much. I love the lanterns too (and the windows and the rich red of the woodwork).

This is a personal favourite already!

Many thanks for your lovely comments - Jethro

I thought I'd left a comment when first you posted this lovely photo - must have been interrupted, though the golden star was still there. Happy travels (O:

Beautiful windows and very nice interior. Like it. Did you get the pictures of NC by email?
