The way it works for me is I'm first attracted to the horizontals of the steps in the foreground, my eyes are guided by the green pattens straight into the entrance, the rectangular doors echo the rectangles of green and point to the stairs inside with yet more rectangles and lines... and then there's this bit of a person getting in the way of those delicious patterns and echoes and rectangles and lines.
As I say, just my opinion ;-)
