Crossing the Australian continent by Auto..Eyre Highway. 1956

My big brother, my mother and I filling our faces somewhere on the Eyre Highway. Our Holden FJ was our means of travel. Holdens had a reputation for rolling over if pushed too hard. So my dad took it fairly easy. Otherwise FJs were plenty reliable. The journey to Victoria took us over a week.
