Thanks May! This is the very northern part of Florida, in the pan handle, almost into Alabama. Here there are mostly pines, less palms. More likely to see deer than seagulls. It's not the typical Florida climate, but still very nice. But especially in Florida, most of the picnic tables have roofs. It rains often in Florida during the spring and summer. It might rain every day, but only for 5 or 10 minutes each day.

Thanks Pam! Do you mean you've tried to take pictures of rest stops and picnic areas? I think places like this will look messy with too much background. I got this with a moderate telephoto, standing twice as far back from the first table as the first table is from the second table.
