Beauty of an image. Looks like you shot this at the right time of day Michael. We got here late afternoon and the sun angle wasn't good for shooting. Plus a cold front was coming through and we were freezing standing at this overlook. Well done. Tom

Hello Tom,

I Guess I did. This image was taken back in May 2005 on a short 4 day visit in Phoenix. It was close to noon and it was Hot! about 95 degrees. I wanted to do some photography in and around Sedona but there was a ton of road work all through town and the amount of tourists was enormous. The construction was hearding us right through town. I couldn't stop anywhere. So instead I traveled up to the Grand Canyon. Lucky for me I had a Golden Eagle Pasport that allowed me free entry into National Parks. Otherwise I would have been charged about $30 (I Think) anyway I spent about 4 hours there. Someday I'll spend a longer time there.

thanks for the Comment! :)

Nice pic of the canyon. I agree with your previous commenter, that is good light, not an easy shot to make.

Cameron,

Thank you for the comment!

It was real nice there. I would like to visit Sedona and stay alittle longer. I heard that there was a fire last year in the canyon. I wonder how bad it was?

Michael..
