Thank You for visit Daniela!

It was not very cold in last week, just about zero. Only bad weather was about fog, light snow fall and dirty melting streets. (I damaged with dirt salt low bottom edges of my "Levis" jeans!) :(

I am not sure about my next or forthcoming visit dates, because for this visit I wait for more than 20 years! :)

Ok, to be honest there I must say - I not wait for visit to Russia at all! I just used my unique chance go there again, as soon I understand I can do this.

Numbers of soviet period monuments or sigthtpoints are under repair or are demolited. I rememeber, under this rocket monument was space conquers museum (or exposition?), but now this site are under reconstruction.

If will get my another chance go there, I will report again, if something changed. Ciao, AInars

Interesting and impressing (what it doubtlessly will be) creation. For my part, the beam is too heavy in relation to the rocket. It had should made in some more translucent material.

Interesting and impressing (what it doubtlessly will be) creation. But for my part the beam is too heavy and it should be constructed in some more translucent material. But it was the spectacularity what counts only. ;-)

Thank You Polytropos for great comments!

Well, I agree with You than very often Soviets built monuments, houses or mashinery are giant or built from materials, which usage just dazes.

This rocket beams is built from steal and concrete. Using beton for rocket beam is amazing idea anyway. In Latvia we have another building sample, how rough beton/concrete/steel can work for elegant lightweight shapes. :)
