Gamlehaugen is the official residence of the King of Norway when he is in Bergen. It is the former home of ship owner and prime minister Christian Michelsen. The building was erected in 1900 and given to the Norwegian state as a royal residence, museum and "national property" in 1925

Litt spesielt dette med duse fine farger i bildet av et vinterlukket slott. Likte også bakgrunnen med himmelfargen ned mot Løvstakken og Ulriken.

Bildet ble tatt på lørdag tidlig på kvelden. Den fargerike himmelen skyldes et relativt lavt skydekke som reflekterte lyset fra byen (som pga nysnøen var ganske kraftig). Bildet er et HDR bilde dvs. satt sammen av 3 ulike eksponeringer. Derfor mulig å lyse opp fjellene i bakgrunnen.
