Star trails show the passing of time, via the recent rotation of the earth, while the historic Bodie Schoolhouse is frozen in time, maintained in a state of "suspended decay". This photo was taken during the Google+/Panoramio Eastern Sierra Photowalk held June 1-4, 2012.
