Cowboy Stadium You might wonder how they came to be America's Team...The Dallas Cowboys team has always drawn the largest television audiences. In fact, when the NFL wanted to see if tv ratings would be good on a Thanksgiving Day game they went to then General Manager, Tex Schramm, and asked if The Cowboys would try it out...Schramm agreed ONLY if they decided to continue games on that day that the Cowboys would always have a game played on Thanksgiving Day. To this day, on Thanksgiving, in homes everywhere, dinner is served based on the time the game starts. lol For a video of the Exterior of Cowboy photos of interior...Jerry Jones is all about making money..VIP tours are $27.50 each.

Here, too, thanks for the information - which is exactly what one can see often in American sitcoms (eg, According to Jim, with James Belushi)! Funny for me that it seems the same in "real life"! ;-D

Greetings - have a nice sunday! Dida

Hi **Fabrizio...I know...Soccer (your football :) is king of sports in your Country...which does very well in competition :)...but in the USA our type of football is least September-January...then it's on to the basketball, followed by baseball. In recent years they have all over-lapped...which I don't like. lol Hope you're having a great weekend! Best regards, Phyllis (have I told you I like your applauding hands icon?)

Hi Jack, thank you for your LIKE for this particular photo....(notice I've improved..thanks to you) :) I appreciate the compliment. Actually, I was impressed far more than I expected. It's used for lots of things and the 'turf' is actually sewn together, with all the field markings sewn it, and then they roll it up in sections. Best regards, Phyllis

Hello Ahmet! Thank you for your compliment and LIKE of Cowboys Stadium. I know you come the the US..have you seen the stadium? The total cost was 1.5 Billion with the City of Arlington paying 325 Million, the NFL giving $150 million but the balance was paid by Jerry Jones. He may not have made it all back yet..but with all the sponsorships and increased revenue from use, I sure he's well on his way. Good to hear from you, Best regards, Phyllis
