The remains of this old tree, high up on the ridge caught my attention. The likeness of little wooden creatures captures the imagination.....
Dzięki redyeti...Cieszę się, że cieszył się scenie!
A most beautiful photo, and well deserved of the number of views! I love the contortions in the wood, and the small spaces which allow the blue sky to come into view. There is a somewhat disdainful face at the top left and a griffin at the centre.
Good eye, Amelia, You found the old Indian chief and his blue eyed animal spirits. Could they be singing that old Bob Dylan tune?
...the answer my friend is Blowing in the Wind
I started a group for cool shots like this: Natural Imitations, but do a terrible job of keeping it going. Another similar group, better managed, is Kurioses in der Natur. You might want to check them out. Either would be thrilled to have your wildlife illusions in their galleries.
Hi Ken, It seems we both find these illusions of nature simply irresistible. I would be happy to share some of my wild visions on Natural Imitations.
Let's all take a walk on the wild side! Carlee
This is a bizzarre society! I'm glad you share it with us, Carlee. It's so inspiring! I'm looking a long time in the faces of this creatures and now I know: maybe they are singing Bob Dylans old song and they languish in longing for the old times! The chief at the left has closed his eyes while singing and a fox snuggles up in his arms. A blue eyed wolf (in the middle) is blowing his white hot breath in the blue sky and even the birds are singing fervently.
So I can absolutely understand your sense of belonging to this wilderness areas. It's so inspiring, so lively and full of surprises I love it too! L+Fav!
Superb photo, interesting galery!L28!
