Fire Station #10 in Yorkville - 1878; Toronto oldest active Fire Hall
Selected for Google Earth [?] - ID: 75739102
Yorkville Fire Department, 1878. It is the city's oldest active fire hall. The two-storey structure has a five-storey clock tower with three bays. Used to be one of the tallest structure in Yorkville, when I arrived in Toronto. Look at it now!
Fire Hall #10 (now 312), has a coat of arms from the old Yorkville Town Hall. It was restored in 1974.
Certain places in can be photographed only in certain time. The sun is rare here, because of the tall buildings. The advantage of a local photographer being, that you can revisit.
