Ibirapuera Park is the most important urban park in the city of São Paulo, Brazil. It was inaugurated on August 21, 1954 to commemorate the fourth centenary of the city and is second only in size to the Parque do Carmo and Parque Anhanguera. The park has a bike path and thirteen lighted courts, and jogging tracks intended for walks and rest, all integrated into the cultural area. Its area is 1.584 km ², and its three artificial lakes and interconnected occupy 15,700 m².
