Hi Tom, a nice captured detail of this river. The colors are fitting very well together and the long time exposure brings ease to the river.

Greetings!

H.S.

Spectacular!

Tom Lussier Photogra… on February 6, 2008

Thank you Ntinos, Luud, Olivier & Riccardo for your kind remarks. I was going for a little more "drama" in this with higher contrast.

Regards, Tom

Looks like you had some fun with this shot, Tom. I'd say it paid off.

Cheers,

Hank.

Tom Lussier Photogra… on February 7, 2008

I did have fun with this one Hank. A little extra oomph seems to have done the trick.

Regards, Tom

P.S. Could not have produced this without RAW files.

George Sled on February 7, 2008

Fabulous, tom. I have the sense it would be a great photo even without the HDR.

Tom Lussier Photogra… on February 8, 2008

Thanks George I appreciate the comments. This was a tough one to get. With mid-day full sun I had to use two ND8 filters to get the motion I was after. The HDR of three exposures was the best way to get the range my eyes saw. Something that would have been very difficult to achieve back in the film era. Hurray for digital!

Regards, Tom
