Nice view, Was here, but could not remind this section of the road.

Sometimes people don't recognize things that others do. Maybe you had your eyes more on the strange but beautiful landscape. Or listened to a special song that moment. Or you haven't really been there. Or i'm wrong with the position. Many things could happen :-)

Andrey Bogdanov on May 25, 2013

Suppose, the mapping is not enough correct. Your mapping is close to the mountains where 190Rt has no such long straight section. In my mind you have take shot of 190Rt which is inside 395 interstate and 136 Rt, crossing desert. I was driving toward 136 Rt heading Death Valley. That could be the reason that I do not remember that section. In any case, the photo itself is very good.

Cheers, Andrey

I'm pretty sure the position is right (even if i'm not sure by foot/meter). Down on the right there is a sign showing the direction to Olanca. If you go NNW from this spot the way to Olanca is to the left.

Andrey Bogdanov on May 25, 2013

Yes, agree with you and now completely understand my confusion. Your front view and forward driving direction was my rear view. The only view in the car mirror could give me the same picture as I was driving heading Death Valley.

Okay. It's my fault, too. The title suggests this is the way to death valley. But we WERE on the road to the death valley and this is the rear view, indeed. Sorry. I will get the problem fixed after this answer :-)
