Our "Feeding the Lemurs" day involved these little chaps. The female is the brown one and the one which interacted, e.g. climbed all over us, the most! We thought this pose meant "leave us alone, we've had enough of you"! The Black Lemur, like all lemurs, is endemic to Madagascar and their primary diet is fruit although the odd sparrow which ventures into their pen gets a nasty surprise according to their keeper!
