House ends at New Quay, Wales.

Selected for Google Maps and Google Earth

Walking down the steep lane towards the picturesque harbour of New Quay, colours and symmetry jump into my lens.

Ewa, JMVales and Andy, sometimes we need to look further afield than just natures landscapes. Here is a man-made piece of art-décor perhaps. My thanks to the owners who painted them in these colours. Thanks for the awards!

Best wishes, Herb

Hello Herb. What ever the owners did - you are the one who has seen this great scene :))) L and greetings from Germany

Cochise thanks for the visit and comment. I suppose you are right in reality. These scenes are everywhere but not everybody sees them. Thanks for the L.

Cheers, Herb

Suleyman, Ivo and Ivan, welcome to my gallery. It is always good to see new visitors here, especially those that enjoy my work. This is a little different from most of my landscapes but it is still my love too. Thank you for your awards. Please call again.

GGR, my friend, nice to see you again and yes another glimpse of Wales here.(see my latest offerings too.) Thanks for the like.

Ivan, many thanks for the privileged of being added to your favourites list. You Honour Me!. I look forward to seeing more of you and your work.

Best wishes to you all from the UK, Herb

Now I wonder who would live in a house like this......? Someone who likes colour no doubt! I'm pleased there are such people around, it occupies and delights photographers. As you said above to Cochise, "These scenes are everywhere but nobody sees them", so true! One of my favourite photographers on Panoramio is Paul Strasser, Paul remarked once that 'I am never observant until I have a camera in my hand'. I think that remark sums it up perfectly. Well noticed, and a big like! - David.

Finn, many thanks for your comment, way back in October. My sincere apologise for not having noticed it then. Glad you liked it anyway.

David, great to see you here again. I agree with you about these scenes which abound but are mostly unnoticed and unrecorded. Must take a look at Paul's gallery - I have seen his name in the NPC competitions! My passion is with well-lit natural landscapes but you can see with this and my latest city trips that I will try anything that catches my eye. Great that you like this one. Look forward to your next visit.

Cheers to you both for a Happy New Year, Herb
