Classic.... what's the deal here?

InTheBush on July 29, 2012

It's an auction Stuart, local footy club raising money. The firewood always cracks me up, my daughter counted over 15 loads, Collie...people may think coal is the local commodity but little do they know....and when you have as many minuses in the mornings as we've had lately...it's perfectly understandable :))

Strange thinking about warm fires when it is so hot here in Texas (temps have varied between really hot and Freaking Hot, lately

Stuart Smith on July 31, 2012

Cold it has been but never fear hot is coming..... and for the Texans here, can you beat 46 cencius?

InTheBush on July 31, 2012

I think Texas is pretty well similar to WA, just opposite!!

brooklynboy1314 on July 31, 2012

Stuart, only once did I get close to 46C here. The high, so far this summer, has been 42C. Basically, we toss a hamburger patty into the air, then we catch it on a bun, fully cooked. The bun is toasted, too, by that point.

InTheBush on August 1, 2012

That's very economical, no toaster required :)

It's so chilly here bb and Henry that we have the wood-burning heater going 24hrs per day. Hasn't been allowed to go out for weeks!

Lee Gill on August 14, 2012

So how cold has it been C? I love this picture, repetitive things make for great pictures, you were there at the right time :)

jockswa on August 16, 2012

I could use some of that right now..
