Ah, glad you're back, Nick. Thanks! Had been watching the Olympics cycling all day in Bushy Park. Was walking home and had put the G10 away, but this scene tempted me to fish it out again.

Best wishes, Brian.

Bushy Park must be a good place to be within walking distance of Brian and then to enjoy this view as well, an added bonus ~ Best wishes and good morning ~ nick

Yes, Nick. I've often been tempted to move away from frenzied & overcrowded SE England, to Scotland perhaps. But I would sorely miss the Thames. I often stroll to Bushy Park and Hampton Court. Richmond Park is a very pleasant walk and destination too. Sometimes walk to the London Wetland Centre; it's not that far, cutting through the Park. Hopping on my bike I can be in North Downs in 30 mins and London is only 20 mins by train. I get the impression you must live in the Uxbridge/ Hillingdon/ Denham/ Beaconsfield area. Beautiful round there too; know it fairly well (went to school in Hayes). The beautiful reincarnated Red Kites are plentiful your way; surprised you've not shown any photos yet.

Bye for now, Brian.
