Life on the Khan River - 3

Not selected for Google Earth or Google Maps after a second review [?]

Nam Khan river. This is the third chapter in my story. No big suprise. What happened next is open to your imagination.....

I am not sure, why the man hit the water with his pole! He did it few times in the time I was able to see him from the bridge. Maybe, it is a macho thing.... like Tarzan beating his chest. This photo was in the 2012 August TTT contest. Placed 7.

We will never know Mark!

But, these people are always calm and relaxed. To show emotion, shout or fight is extremely rare!

I know Thai people, Lao people are almost identical in their dealing with frustration.

It is never shown, it is just not cool!!!

At first I thought, maybe the guy angry because female companion does popoo in his boat. But when I press into google “beating water with stick laos” I get to: https://inspireamerika.wordpress.com/tag/myanmar/ “Fishing. They drop the fishing nets and then beat the water with bamboo sticks to make the fish rise to the top.” Anyway LIKE Delondiny NGA
