Church, Omø

Kirken på Omø er en sød lille én. Som du kunne se, er min speciel at fotografere landsbykirker i DK, derfor min interesse for billedet. Måske, kunne forgrunden har været lidt mere belyst i behandlingen. Hilsen. Claude David.

You are absolutely right! I also think that the exposure is not very good. I think the problem is that the sun is behind the light clouds at the upper corner of the image, creating back light. I should have photographed the church from the other side.

However I think in Panoramio it is most interesting how a place looks like, and the artistic aspects of a photo are not so important. Therefore I posted the photo despite I was not happy with it.

I don't speak Danish, maybe I didn't understand your comment correctly.

A short look at the mat shows that my reasoning with the position of the sun is nonsense. I was looking to NW when I took this photo, and it was about 11:00. So the sun was somewhere on my right side (or even behind me), and definitely not behind the church.

Nevertheless, the exposure is bad.
