Bravo Christiane. I like all your new serie.
Have a nice day.
Abdallah You selected a place where oriental and occidental spirit meet perfectly. The ornament and the concept of predetermined ways of life (kismet) is oriental. The attitude of rebellion, the believe in man's souvereign capacity to design his life and the world around him, is western.
But on my picture the rebellion leads to a dead end. So right now it is 1:0 for the orient...:)
You've raised an interesting theme with your metaphoric snapshot itself. The rebellion shown, with obviously resolute breaking the boundaries (not heading a dead-end!), might seem insolent within the given nicely organized structure. But in real, practical world even the seeming perfection of whichever... let's say "ideology"... hardly passes without examining, re-examining and possible breaking predeterminations.
If only we (all) knew the right way !
Excellent image, nice symbol, Christiane. you got the magic instant. Cheers Annick
If I had a wish free for the next commentary, it would have been yours! I agree, I agree! I love your rebellion against the idea that rebellion would lead to a dead end :) and appreciate very much your position of doubt, of the necessity questioning of the rules, who's highest objective can only be to create a truely human order.
Abdallah did you see what a magnificent specimen of the western spirit has entered here!!
He rebells RIGHT AWAY against the idea that rebellion would lead to a dead end. The beautiful statement about the necessity of repeated questioning of the existing structures (rules) makes the match now 1:1 !
Dear Annick thank you about your nice perception of a picture that I like a lot!
I simply like your re-formulation and almost a cunning word-play ("rebelling against rebellion ")!
My experience tells me that, for example, Feng Shui principles can, however wise and provident be, lead to its opposition if applied without at least a trace of own intuition and wisdom.
This conversation is beyond my ability to understand it, not for the language but for my condition of (eternal) beginner in photography. So, all I can say is that this image is beautiful by itself. Congratulations for it!
Segundosombra You must be kidding if you say that you are be a beginner in photography. If you like the picture, this is what really counts before all the words our intellect might play around it.
Thank you for your kind words! I'll return to your gallery another day to see more of far Argentina.
Marcelo I am still thinking about your comment and trying to understand it. I am happy that you did it. It is the second comment here, that I feel that it is a "fullfilled wish". So this is a lucky picture. It is funny, that it is possible to get wishes fulfilled, that you didn't even know about before.
Panoramio seemed to be in a long flaw, so I was waiting for it was fixed in order to do my reply.
May be I was a bit exaggerated when I said beginner but I've got only some experience in landscape and wild life photography. What I wanted to say is I never took this kind of photo (structures), reason for which you (and I) may consider me a completely "noob". But I like your photo anyway :)
And I am really glad if you got wishes fulfilled :)
einfach grandios Chriastiane!
Monika, danke, ich freue mich über so ein schönes Lob!
