This skyscraper was topped out on 30th March 2012. It stands 309.6 metres high (1016 ft) and is the tallest completed building in Europe and is the second-tallest free structure in the UK after the 330-metre concrete tower at the Emley Moor transmitting station. It has 72 habitable floors with a viewing gallery and open-air observation deck on the 72nd floor at a height of 245 metres. Not a trip I'll be making I can tell you! It was designed with an irregular pyramidal shape from the base to the top and is clad entirely in glass. HMS Belfast is, of course, a museum ship originally a Royal Navy light cruiser moored permanently in London. She saw action in the Second World War and the Korean War.
