Great photo Adam. Can't wait to see more photos from your trip.

Adam Elmquist on August 14, 2012

Thank you Patrick I took over 4100 photos not all came out blurry ones, out of focus ones, I did not really even start yet but I am thinking roughly 3,000 keepers. I only took 3 videos though...

I remember seeing those 2 locomotives driving on 80 5 years ago, Omaha is a pretty cool place for railroad enthusiast. Michael :)

Adam Elmquist on August 15, 2012

Thank you Michael I totally agree, did a trip with my family out to Mt Rushmore, but had to make those RR stops along the way. As for this location I saw it on the Discovery Channel Years Ago I knew one day I had to see it for myself it's just fantastic... Also this year is now the 150th anniversary of Union Pacific railroad, just made the vist extra special.... As you can tell for the trip I took a lot of photos I am no where near uploading them yet, but I was able to get a few Youtube videos up... Joliet, IL, & Kearney, NE...

Funny LOL sorry Wisconsin was not on the route of the trip hopefully one day... Iowa was along the way out to Mt.Rushmore. States I got photos in were PA, OH, IN, IL, IA, SD, WY, NE, and MO had a little car trouble along the way that was a factor of not seeing everything but all is well again with that..

You should of taken Interstate 90 from Chicago Ill. Out to Rapid City South Dakota. You could of seen the Corn Palace, Wall Drug, Wisconsin Dells and the Mayo Clinic witch all were along that Interstate 90.

Yup got lots of photos of the Corn Palace and Wall Drug. I'm about 20% done making edits to the photos I took along the trip.

Formula for a train wreck? Dang Adam, I'm jealous! I hope you were listening to that J. Cash song, "I've been Everywhere," while you were traveling about.
