The beautiful English countryside, the only time I've seen it was on the train from London on my way to Brussel. L-11 Michael :)

Thanks for your compliment Michael. Although it's only a small island, there is plenty of countryside to see. Try and come back soon! Warm wishes, David.

"Landscapes with tiny cows" are my favorites, and this is a very good one! Quite a formidable, ornate, old bridge there, with all those little woods around and the gently rolling hills... I like the names on the map for all the woods and bodies of water, especially the "Dairy Pond". But it's all about the light, isn't it? I just don't know, wether all these lovely bovines will be under the shadow of the cloud, or in the pleasant sunlight in the next instant, The 3rd Fav for the photographer and Like for the moo cows. Simply splendid, David!

Shucks Boris, that is some compliment you've given there, and you know the area better than I do! :)

I wouldn't have ever guessed that "tiny cows" were a favorite of yours, there again, you "city boys" won't come across many in your 'neck of the woods'! :))

I'm not sure but I think the bridge was built around the late seventeen-hundreds and doesn't look like it's been used since; probably by the Lord of the manor as a sort of folly for his own amusement.

A world away from your present situation, but that's the attraction of Pano' I think.

I'm really 'chuffed' with your comment, cheers, - D.

What a beautiful old bridge. Very attractive landscape,David. A big LIKE from me. Best wishes. Jack.

coffee55 on March 20, 2014

Thanks Jack, an old bridge, grazing cows and dappled sunlight, a typical bucolic scene I thought was worthy of a photo.

pleased you like it, cheers, - D.
