I am leading an exploration of this gorge on Saturday, Berend. The experienced climbers will enable us to get down into the gorge and explore the whole of the falls. The first descent will be around about the right edge of this photo, and then we will work our way back to the edge of the plunge pool, then we will go further downstream until we complete the whole 160M drop to Corner Pool, around the corner into Gates of Yabba. I am sure there will be some very special surprises for us.

There is some very interesting geology in the gorge. And we do not know what aquatic life is in the pools below the falls. I am excited by being able to investigate the patches of pristine forest beside the lower sections of the falls. And I am sure the expert climbers in the group will be identifying climbing and access routes.

I will be able to share the photography with you by Pano.

Warm regards,
