I would have spent the whole time in the boomer's pod if I could, Suzi. You can't see the ground well from the side windows of the tanker. If I followed the mission briefing, our flight path took us over the Snake River and Hell's Canyon. Warmest regards, Leo

Thanks, Stacy. My best friend spent his entire Air Force in this position. He was one of the few "boomers" certified to refuel the SR-71. Unfortunately he couldn't get on one of those missions.
