Greetings Klare and John, What a beautiful house on the great lakes. Very nice. I love the fence.
Thank you, Rich. Mackinac Island, with however uncomfotable access to it, is wort visiting. No cars on the island, only horse-drawn carriages and bicycles.
The house in the picture belongs to the "west bluff's summer cottages" erected in late XIX century. There are several of them and every one is really unique. I agree, the fence in the picture adds a lot to the composition. It's a low fence so I had to kneel to be able to include it as a 1st plan. Cheers, Klare and John
Great view of this beautiful building K&J.
Best regards to USA!
Thank you, Victor. Cheers, K&J
I have just noticed your comment. Thank you, donizettiboy
This home is just as beautiful on the inside. The owners have a penchant for, well, hogs. If you look closely you will see a porcine figure to the left of the main entrance. Pig figurines also 'guard' the main gate. It is referred to lovingly as Hogg Heaven.
