Ο Εθνικός Δρυμός της Πίνδου βρίσκεται μεταξύ των νομών Γρεβενών (70%) και Ιωαννίνων (30%). Η συνολική του έκταση φτάνει τα 68.990 στρέμματα. Είναι γνωστός και ως Βάλια Κάλντα που στην βλάχικη διάλεκτο σημαίνει ζεστή κοιλάδα. Ο δρυμός καλύπτεται από χιόνι 7 – 8 μήνες το χρόνο.

The National Park of Pindos lies between the prefectures of Grevena (70%) and Ioannina (30%). The total area reaches 68,990 square meters. He is known as Valia Calda that the Vlach dialect means warm valley. The park is covered in snow 7 to 8 months a year.
