Gwennap Pit (1)

Selected for Google Maps and Google Earth

This is a very important site in early methodist hitory and strongly associated with John Wesley. I recommend the Wikipedia entry under Gwennap for a general overview.

I like this one very much too. (I'm a sucker for any type of blue flower incidentally!). Something I'm curious about, Andy. Your photos all have the 'soft' look. I find that can be attractive - I often use the soft filter in Photoshop for my own photos. However, I thought the softness was down to you previously using a cameraphone. I was expecting it to disappear now you are using the Fuji - but it hasn't! Is that because it is a by-product, so-to-speak, of editing with Picasso? As I say, I'm just curious.

Best wishes, Brian.

I have been beginning to suspect that too, Brian. So I will upload two of the same, one au naturel and the other edited (framed, cropped, that sort of thing) just to see. Quite possibly it's down to Picasa - my earlier cameraphone photos pre-Picasa were very sharp indeed! You can see this if you want by going to some very early pages of mine! Cheers and thank you for your help and advice! Very much appreciated. Best wishes, Andy
