We seem to have looking at the same sorts of things Ian. :))
These look so well spaced, quite different from the rows of beach huts at Wells. I wonder if the water is warmer than that of the North Sea?
Warm wishes, Amelia

Hello Amelia! With friends in Oslo I took a tourist cruise a short while ago and these drew my eye. If your idea of North Sea temperatures is akin to, f.ex the Firth of Forth, then I would say yes, definitely warmer in the inner Oslofj. Best regards, Ian

I used to swim in the North Sea at St.Andrews - frequently, and I didn't think it was too cold. I was a child mind you. I have also swum in the sea at Sola too! Not quite as warm as the Med. :)

A hardy soul! My swimming in the North Sea as such is limited to one exceptionally warm, and very calm day when we were sailing over to Inverness, and we cooled ourselves off halfway over. The water was quite simply warm.
